If My Book Were A Musical: Academic Review of "Things I Never Talk About"

Student, Diamond Brown analyzes the subject matter of "Things I Never Talk About"and imagines its elements into art form. TINTA is the wickedly personal plunge into the heart of a motherless girl trying to find guidance as she graduates from girlhood to womanhood, while being raised by a single father. While the end tale captures "themes of forgiveness, love, tenacity, and determination", Brown discusses what this book would look like in the form of a musical given its in-between details.  As the author, I was moved tremendously when Diamond told me that she chose my book to report on for her Theatre class assignment.
