The school you're supposed to be at will accept you. The friendships meant to last a lifetime will weather those storms. The career that was meant for you will emerge at the right moment. So really there's no need to worry so profusely. In the grand scheme of things, the life meant for us is already assigned and its evidence is encoded in our DNA. We are already chosen for our divine purposes. We all have an assignment on our lives so no matter how hard the cosmic winds of the universe blow, you will never be thrown off too far from where you are meant to be. The universe has us all right on schedule. Knowing this I've found calmness. I've learned to surrender and the power found within doing so. I've learned to forgive myself for all the times I thought I should've did something differently, taken an alternative route, or operated on a better schedule. There's power in realizing where your own power ends. There's also power in realizing the powers you do possess and making the best life possible out of that.
The best way to think about life is like this: say God placed a seed of trust inside of you. Would the way you live your life and the thoughts you think, be nurturing to that seed or would they be weeds poisonous to that seed? Sometimes failing to surrender is like tangling your God-invested seed in poisonous weeds. Surrender, do what you can, and trust that what is meant to happen will, due to fate.
